DESCRIPTION:\n“Tax Credits- A\n Strategic Tax\n Mitigation Tool” \n \nSam Altman\n ------\n\nSam Altman is a Senior Associate, Tax Credit Investments in Monarch Private Capital. In this role, Sam is primarily responsible for building and maintaining relationships with CPA firms, financial institutions, wealth managers, corporations and high net worth individuals that may benefit from ESG tax-advantaged investments.\n \nPrior to joining Monarch, Sam worked as an external auditor at Crowe, formally known as Crowe Horwath. During his time at Crowe, he audited financial institutions ranging from community sized institutions to large publicly traded banks. Sam also gained experience providing audit services for private equity owned companies in the manufacturing space.\n \nSam earned a BS in accountancy from Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio, where he also competed on the varsity baseball team as a pitcher. Sam is a certified public accountant (CPA) in the state of Indiana. Outside of work, Sam enjoys playing on his men’s league softball team, hiking and following college football\n
